Prontosan by B Braun is a ready-to-use solution for cleansing chronic wounds based on Polyhexanide (PHMB) and Propylbetaine.

The surfactant in Prontosan helps break down bacterial biofilm and cleanse the wound . Furthermore, the jet produced by applying light pressure to the bottle physically removes residue from the wound bed. Prontosan® helps minimize trauma during dressing changes, reducing potential damage to newly formed granulation tissue and reducing pain.

Composition per 100 gr.:
- Polyaminopropyl biguanide (Poliesanide): 0.10 gr.
- Undecylene-amidopropylbetaine (at 30% weight by weight): 0.10 gr.
- Purified water to taste per 100 grams
