A system for extracting and filtering fumes produced during electrosurgical procedures. The fumes generated during electrosurgical procedures have an unpleasant, strong, and long-lasting odor. These fumes consist primarily of water vapor, organic gases, visible or invisible solid particles, and viral particles. Effective extraction and filtration eliminates unpleasant odors, reduces bacteriological and/or viral risks, and solves the problem of optimal visibility of the surgical site during laparoscopic procedures.

The suction can be activated:
- Automatically, by means of the remote electronic system for automatic detection of the activation of a high frequency electrosurgical unit
- Manually, by acting directly on the unit
- Via a foot control (optional)
The suction flow can be adjusted so that it can be adapted to individual needs.

A specific, quickly recallable function is provided for laparoscopic procedures. It features electronic suction control with filter wear indicator. Two types of filters are available, quickly replaceable and consisting of ULPA filtration with an activated carbon stage: the BLUE filter is the standard filter supplied with the unit, for an initial usage time (5 hours). The RED filter is an optional replacement filter, ideal for extended usage time (20 hours). They have a 7/8" connection.
