The GIMA capnograph is designed for use on adult and pediatric patients, adopting the mainstream method of measuring end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) and respiratory rate (AwRR). This device detects pulmonary ventilation and reflects the state of circulation and blood flow to the lungs, as well as providing an indirect indication of alveolar ventilation.
