Braided and coated medium-term absorbable synthetic suture, consisting of Polyglycolic Acid and Lactic Acid (PGLA) and antibacterial agent chlorhexidine diacetate to reduce the risk of bacterial attachment and colonization of the suture. Novosyn® CHD, with high tissue compatibility, degrades by hydrolysis and provides predictable and reliable absorption. Novosyn® is available with purple or colorless thread. Absorption: 21 days 50%, full absorption in 56-70 days.
