Purple synthetic suture, absorbable VCP397H FS2 4-0 X36 VICRYL PLUS

Absorbable antibacterial suture, braided - Colour: purple. Material: copolymer of cholic acid and lactic acid (polyglactin 910) • Coating type: poly glactin 370, calcium stearate and Irgacare MP. Thanks to the action carried out by Irgacare MP (Triclosan), it offers protection against the most frequent infections of the surgical site. It features the same handling and surgical performance as Vycril.

Made of glycolic acid and lactic acid copolymer with a coating containing a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent (Irgacare MP - Triclosan) that does not allow colonization by Staphylococci and methicillin-resistant strains.
Tensile strength of 75% after 2 weeks and 50% after 3 weeks which guarantees the holding force on the flaps up to 35 days after surgery.

Absorption by hydrolytic route minimum up to the 40th day; between the 56th and 70th day.
Particularly suitable for soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
Sterilized with Ethylene oxide.
