Vaginal probe BEAC Classic (RU/VClassic)

Vaginal probe with two asymmetrical incomplete ring electrodes.
Connection by means of 2 x 20 cm wires with 2mm socket termination.
PERIPROBE Classica is characterized by two asymmetrical incomplete ring electrodes. If the probe is used correctly, it allows the pelvic floor to be stimulated without stimulating the upper wall (bladder).

Single-patient perineal (vaginal) probe with 2 circular electrodes, cylindrical shape, for treatment
of INCONTINENCE by electrostimulation or EMG biofeedback. Made entirely of
Bio-compatible plastic material, with 2 gold metallized electrodes, it is light and comfortable.

It must be used with a certified electromedical device, capable of generating pulses
symmetrical biphasic (with zero average value). It can be used by both the professional who deals with
re-education of incontinence, and by the patient for home therapy.
For perineal electrostimulation

The two circular electrodes, distal (or superior) larger and proximal (or lower) smaller, spaced 13 mm apart, involve undifferentiated stimulation of all perineal muscles. The profile of the electrodes is interrupted at the top to avoid stimulation at the top of the probe. The electrical connection with the electrostimulation unit is made by means of a pair of extra-flexible wires, 20 cm long, with 2 mm socket termination.

For EMG biofeedback As an alternative to electrostimulation, the probe can be used for intra-cavitary biofeedback, detecting the global EMG (Electro-Myo-Graphic) signal of the pelvic floor. Surface electromyographic detection normally also requires a reference electrode, therefore an adhesive electrode must be applied to the external skin surface, preferably at a bony prominence (e.g.: iliac crest).
