New materials have been adopted to produce the new combined vaginal probe, manufactured by BEACMED and marketed under the name TOTEM Combicon.

The TOTEM Combicon personal vaginal probe allows differentiated treatments to be carried out at the right and left branches of the pubococcygeus muscle, with electrostimulation or EMG biofeedback and, simultaneously, to acquire the pressure produced by the voluntary or involuntary contraction of the pelvic floor by the patient.

A soft, rounded cylindrical balloon supports the two pairs of golden electrodes with a "saddle" profile.

4 electrodes (2 on the left and 2 on the right) allow electrostimulation to be carried out
bilateral perineal with different parameters and/or intensities. The same 4 electrodes allow you to acquire a two-channel EMG signal, suitable for an accurate assessment of pelvic floor muscle balance.

The TOTEM Combicon probe is made to be used with the "wireless" TOTEM-UG patient unit, however, by means of a special adapter, it can be used with any professional equipment for uro-gynecological rehabilitation, equipped with two output channels for electrostimulation, two EMG input channels and at least one pressure input channel.

Considering that evaluation is no less important than therapeutic treatments intended for the re-education of urinary incontinence, the TOTEM Combicon probe can offer an additional advantage, objectifying the various stages of continence recovery.
