Withania somnifera Dunal

Withania (Withania somnifera Dunal.) is a plant used by Ayurvedic Medicine that has been extolling its many beneficial effects for centuries. It is also known as Indian Ginseng for its tonic and strengthening actions.

The Withania root, thanks to the presence of whitanolides (i.e. steroidal lactones) has an adaptogenic tonic action and is used to counteract physical and mental fatigue and to support the body's natural defenses. The term somnifera derives from the Latinsomnifer, "sleeping pill" and in fact the Withania root is useful for promotingrelaxation and mental well-being.

  Withania (Withania somnifera Dunal) standardized root extract (1.5% withanolides) and pulverized root. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Bulking agent: Microcrystalline cellulose. Anti-caking agent: Vegetable magnesium stearate. Antioxidant: PhytO2XTM Base Powder (beta-carotene and vitamin C [acido L-ascorbico].

• How to use

  Swallow 1 to 2 vegetarian capsules daily, with water, preferably with meals. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Packaged in bottles of 60 vegetable capsules.
