PHYTOSTEROLS FOR PHYSIOLOGICAL CHOLESTEROL CONTROL
FITOCOLESTRINOL is a food supplement based on phytosterols extracted from soy. Phytosterols are plant-derived molecules that help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels*.

An intake of at least 1.5 g of phytosterols per day can help reduce blood cholesterol levels.** Hypercholesterolemia is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease.

*The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of plant sterols (at least 2 pearls).

**The beneficial effect is observed with the intake of at least 1.5 g of plant sterols per day (4 softgels per day).

COMPOSITION
Mixture of phytosterols (from soy, Glycine Max (L.) Merr). Edible gelatine. Resistance agent: Vegetable glycerol. Safflower oil. Coloring: Caramel.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 5 years of age. The product is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol level. Patients following cholesterol-lowering treatment should only consume the product under medical supervision. The consumption of more than 3 g per day of plant sterols should be avoided. Intake should be provided as part of a varied and balanced diet, which involves the regular consumption of fruit and vegetables so as to help maintain carotenoid levels.
