L-GLUTATHIONE (GSH)
GLUTATHIONE 250 is a dietary supplement containing 250 mg of L-glutathione per capsule. Glutathione is a natural tripeptide containing sulfur, formed by the amino acids L-Cysteine, Glycine and Glutamic Acid. Glutathione is naturally produced by the body, where it cooperates in the maintenance of antioxidant activity and intervenes in liver detoxification processes. In fact, glutathione has a free thiol group (-SH) that binds to some exogenous substances, thus producing water-soluble derivatives that can be easily eliminated in the urine and through bile. L-glutathione is also a cofactor of Glutathione Peroxidase (GSH-Px), one of the main antioxidant enzymes in our body.
