The OM3 device is a device designed and manufactured by MULTIOSSIGEN for the production of Ozone, whose high oxidation capacity allows to perform a powerful action of inactivation of the microorganisms present in the water.
Ozone, coming into direct contact with the macromolecular structures of microbial cells, alters them making them inactive. Ozone is able to eradicate any microbial species, even those that produce spores or cysts.
An example is represented by Pseudomonas Aureginosa and Legionella, resistant to chlorine even in high concentrations.
The ozone produced, placed in contact with domestic water through a bubbler, allows its complete sterilization in a few minutes. Water treated with ozone, in addition to quenching thirst, at the same time washes the oral cavity thanks to its disinfectant action.
A further advantage deriving from the adoption of the device is that ozone is able to significantly reduce the presence of harmful substances (e.g.: atrazine, cyanides, arsenic, nitrates, nitrites, ammonia) and also the presence of heavy metals (iron and manganese) in water normally used for food purposes.
