Description

PM10N portable monitoring system with DS100A reusable sensor.

The PM10N portable pulse oximeter is a handheld, lightweight and ergonomic oximeter indicated for the continuous or non-invasive spot check measurement of the functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin, for the measurement of arterial pulse rate and for pulse amplitude for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.

The PM10N portable monitoring system is suitable for continuous or instantaneous monitoring of arterial blood functional oxygen saturation and pulse rate in adult, pediatric and neonatal patients, in hospitals, during transfers, as well as in the home setting.

The software can be downloaded from this link.

The LoSat feature of the OxiMax adhesive sensors ensures, when used with the Nellcor portable SpO2 monitoring system, the widest possible accuracy range (SpO2 from 60% to 100%) allowing better monitoring of the patient with very critical saturation levels, frequent in children with congenital heart disease

Specifications:

Handheld, ergonomic, lightweight oximeter for continuous or instantaneous detection of functional arterial oxygen saturation, pulse amplitude and pulse rate and display of the plethysmographic curve.

- LCD screen with size: 88.9 diagonal
- Adult, pediatric, neonatal patients
- OXIMAX system capable of guaranteeing excellent performance in terms of precision and accuracy of the data collected even in conditions of low peripheral perfusion and signal interference, including patient movement.
- Equipped with audible and visual alarms that can be set by the user
- Possibility to select Sleep mode and Home Care mode

Alarm management with SatSeconds
The unique SatSeconds alarm management system (audible and visual) allows clinicians, for the first time, to take advantage of a tool that allows them to manage false alarms caused by transient desaturations. SatSeconds calculates a number that represents the index of the severity and duration of an alarm violation. For example, 1 point below (or above) the alarm limit for 10 seconds equals 10 SatSeconds; 5 points below (or above) the limit for 20 seconds is 100 SatSeconds. The alarm is triggered only when the SatSeconds counter reaches the threshold set by the user and varying between 10, 25, 50 or 100 SatSeconds. In any case, when, in one minute, more than three violations of the set saturation limit occur, the acoustic alarm is activated even if the threshold of the SatSeconds counter has not been reached, we speak in this case of activation of the SatSeconds safety network.

Contraindications and Precautions
Do not use during Nuclear Magnetic Resonance examinations. The current may cause burns. The oximeter could also affect the quality of the image, while the MRI (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) could in turn affect the quality and correctness of the measurements. Do not alter or modify the tool in any way.
Do not use if the device or any of its elements is damaged. Do not immerse in water or cleaning solutions.
