Zoll AED 3 CPR Uni Padz
The plates of the Zoll AED 3 have a built-in sensor that records the depth and frequency of cardiac massage and gives feedback on the quality of chest compressions. This means that the defibrillator can give instructions to the rescuer, for example "press harder" or "appropriate compressions". The Uni Padz are also attached to each other to ensure correct application on the chest. Duration of the AED 3 CPR Uni-Padz
All electrodes have an expiration date. In the case of plates for Zoll AED 3, the service life is approx. 5 years. Once the expiration date has passed, the plates must be replaced, expired plates cannot be used! Defibrillator electrodes contain conductive gel that dries out after a certain amount of time and no longer conducts well. Make sure you always have unexpired electrodes.

Pediatric Application:
Specific electrodes are normally used on children aged 1 to 8 years and weighing less than 25 kg. The Zoll AED 3 has a pediatric button with which you can easily switch to the children's mode. So the same electrodes can be used for both children and adults.
