Description

The MAGUS Stereo A6 stereoscopic microscope allows you to see objects in three dimensions. Thanks to the CMO (Common Main Objective) system, this device is suitable for research and can be used in various scientific and production fields. It combines perfectly with a digital camera and allows you to produce high-quality videos and photographs without distortion. The microscope can be used for the observation of opaque and transparent samples and allows you to examine the surface features in detail.

The Stereo A6 model has a binocular head. The pipes are installed at an angle of 20° to the horizontal plane. It allows researchers to assume a comfortable position during observations. A digital camera can be installed on the microscope head, allowing you to conduct research or reports with images generated in real time. To mount the camera on the microscope, you need an intermediate accessory with photo output and a C-mount adapter.

In microscopes with a CMO system, the two optical paths of the eyepieces come together in the common main objective. It is located at a 90° angle to the surface of the sample, so the researcher is able to see the object without geometric distortion. A planachromatic objective with large lenses provides a stereoscopic angle of 11°, produces a wide field of view, and creates an image with minimal aberrations. The stereoscopic microscope has a large working distance of 78 mm, which allows you to study large samples.

The zoom lens changes the focal length and magnification at the same time. The zoom ratio is 6:1. The image in the lens is initially straight and does not need to be flipped by a prism system.

The focus is adjusted using knobs located on the mount. The user can adjust the coarse focus. You can also adjust the path tension to suit the user's needs.

The microscope operates in transmitted and reflected light, so the stage is equipped with two types of plates. The transparent plate is used for the study of translucent and transparent samples. It allows you to achieve uniform illumination of the object, diffusing the light well. The double-sided, black and white plate is necessary for observing objects that are impenetrable by light: the white surface serves as a background for dark objects, while the black surface serves as a background for light objects.

The research object is illuminated by LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The device is equipped with a 6 W transmitted light observation illuminator and a 3 W reflected light observation illuminator that works using the oblique illumination method.

You can replace microscope elements to achieve additional magnification or to supplement the functionality of the device. Eyepieces of different magnifications change the final magnification of the microscope. The main objective affects the width of the field of view and the magnification of the microscope. It also determines the working distance. If you need to measure an object, calibration slides in 0.1 mm increments can be used.
