Objective for the study of samples in polarized light, both transmitted and reflected. When producing lenses for polarizing lenses, we try to avoid internal distortions so that the optics do not produce birefringence or affect observation.
The MAGUS SFR50 50x has a resolution limit of 0.39 μm. It is designed for an infinitely correct optical system at a parfocal distance of 45 mm. It is not necessary to cover the specimen with a slide cover to observe it.
A planachromatic lens corrects chromatic aberrations in red and blue, spherical in green, and geometric aberrations for 90% of the image area. The lens provides a wide and sharp field of view. It is suitable for use in conjunction with a system equipped with a digital camera or wide-field eyepieces with a 22 mm field of view. A 10x/22 mm eyepiece will provide a field of view of 0.44 mm. The image will be sharp both in the center and on the sides.
A possible microscope magnification for this objective will range from 350x and 700x. To achieve the desired magnification, we recommend using eyepieces with a magnification of 7x to 15x. Eyepieces with a lower magnification will not allow the sample to be examined effectively, while an eyepiece with a magnification greater than 15x will not provide new data.
