MAGUS Metal D630 Digital Metallographic Microscope BD for brightfield, dark field and polarization microscopy techniques. Powerful halogen light illumination produces a quality image with any objective lens and microscopy method. The microscope is designed for quality control and the study of the microstructure of semiconductor materials, metals, and opaque objects. It is used to conduct research at manufacturing facilities, research center laboratories, and university departments.
Digital camera
The MAGUS CLM30 digital camera is designed for dark field microscopy and fluorescence techniques. The camera is equipped with an 8.3 MP sensor and produces realistic images at a resolution of 3840x2160 px. It is recommended to use the camera with 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x lenses. When using low-magnification lenses, the camera allows the wearer to see sharper details.
Videos are recorded at 45fps or 70fps depending on the resolution – videos flow smoothly with smooth and delicate transitions between frames. The movement of the sample is shown in real time, without delays. The camera makes it easy to observe moving objects and is suitable for academic demonstrations.
The camera is equipped with a USB interface 3.0. Data transfer speed is 10 times faster than USB cameras 2.0. The high-speed camera is recommended for professional labs, research, or university education.
Optical
The trinocular head is equipped with a trinocular tube in which the digital camera is mounted (not included). You can direct the light beam onto the eyepiece or trinocular tube via a camera/eyepiece light path selection knob. The trinocular head is tilted at 30° for easy observation. The diopter adjustment dial is located on the left optical tube.
Once the lenses included in the kit are mounted on the nosepiece, there will be a slot for an additional lens. All objectives of the base are planachromatic, with a long working distance, suitable for brightfield and darkfield microscopy.
Lighting
For darkfield observations, the microscope has a higher power halogen lamp (50 W). In addition, the reflected light illumination system includes: a set of filters, field and aperture diaphragms, a darkfield device, a built-in analyzer and a removable polarizer. The openings and light source can be centered. You can configure the Köhler lighting method.
Stage and focusing mechanism
The microscope features an interestingly designed stand and focusing mechanism, and the analyzed sample can be of any size and height. It is also characterized by its small size, which allows the microscope to be placed on surfaces with a maximum height of 40 cm. The coarse and fine focus knobs are coaxial and are located on either side of the microscope body. The coarse tension adjustment can also be adjusted.
Fixings
Additional accessories for the MAGUS Metal 630 microscope can be ordered separately BD. These include compatible eyepieces, objectives with a long working distance for bright and dark field techniques, calibration slides and digital cameras.
Key features of the microscope:
- Suitable for the study of opaque samples of any height and size
- Trinocular head with trinocular tube for mounting a digital camera and 100:0 and 0:100 radius splitter
- Observations in reflected light using brightfield, darkfield and polarization microscopy techniques
- The power of the halogen light source has been increased to 50 W (suitable for darkfield)
- Aperture and field diaphragms for Köhler lighting and a set of color filters, centering of both diaphragms and a light source.
- Compact design stand for mounting the microscope in small spaces
- A wide range of optional accessories
Key features of the camera:
- For darkfield and fluorescence microscopy with 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x objectives
- 8.3 MP resolution: When observing with low-magnification lenses, the camera allows the user to see sharper details
- 45 fps and 70 fps, at 3840x2160 pixels and 1920x1080 pixels respectively, for observing samples with moving elements, recording videos and handling the specimen without jerks or delays
- The Peltier cell lowers the temperature of the sensor during prolonged operation and eliminates thermal noise, thus allowing you to use a long shutter speed when taking photographs.
- The CMOS sensor SONY Color backlit Exmor delivers images with low noise and high light sensitivity even in low light conditions. You can get sharper, brighter and more color-saturated images.
- USB 3.0 interface for fast and smooth data transfer
- Software for recording and editing photos and videos, external display functions, linear and angular measurements
