The Ermenrich Seek FR40 is an infrared thermometer (pyrometer) for non-contact temperature measurement. The perfect instrument for measurements in conditions where physical contact is impossible or dangerous. It measures temperature in the range of −50 to +550°C using infrared radiation. Response time less than 0.5 seconds.
The thermometer is equipped with a laser pointer for precise pointing of the object. First, you need to press and hold the "trigger" for the device to start continuous measurement. To stop the process and record the values obtained, simply release the button. You can set the minimum and maximum values, when the device reaches which it will send a light signal. You can also choose the result to display in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The thermometer is powered by 2 AAA batteries (not included). To save battery power, there is an automatic shut-off function after 30 seconds of inactivity. The battery charge indicator helps to change power supply in a timely manner.
