Description

The Ermenrich NetGeeks NU40 Optical Multimeter, or Optical Power Meter, is an essential tool for professionals involved in the installation and maintenance of fiber optic telecommunication lines. This instrument allows you to measure absolute power and identify attenuations between two points on the transmission line. It has a light source function for controlling fiber optic cables. The multimeter has two connectors and supports a hybrid mode of operation: when testing a cable, it can simultaneously act as an optical power meter and a light source to evaluate signal loss.

The instrument has FC, SC, ST connectors and can work with single-mode (SMF) or multi-mode (MMF) cables. You can vary and select the operating mode using buttons. The measurements are shown on the built-in screen, which is equipped with a backlight for working in low light conditions. The multimeter is powered by standard batteries (not included).
