The Ermenrich NetGeeks NP30 Cable Tester is designed for cable testing, locating open circuits, and measuring cable length. This tool is useful for anyone who installs computer networks and phone lines or is responsible for maintaining and repairing them, but it can also be used for the most basic needs of controlling home networks.
The Ermenrich NetGeeks NP30 can be used for testing network cables, telephone cables, coaxial cables, and other types of cables. This instrument is capable of testing cables for open circuits (breaks) and short circuits, as well as twisted or inverted pairs. There is a flashing port function, which allows you to accurately find the port on the network switch or router to which the cable under test is connected. Length measurement is available for LAN cables, in a range of 5 to 350 meters, with an accuracy of 5%. In addition, there is an option to calibrate the instrument, so that the accuracy of the measurements can be improved. This cable tester can also measure the distance at which a possible circuit break point (open circuit) is located.
The package includes a transmitter, receiver, remote unit and additional accessories. The transmitter and receiver need a 9V battery each.
