Medihoney Gel Sheet is a sterile, non-adherent dressing containing 100% pure Medihoney Medical Honey and Sodium Alginate (80% Medihoney and 20% Sodium Alginate). These ingredients, thanks to a patented technology, are mixed to create a Medihoney honey dressing with an exclusive composition, and unique in its kind. Medihoney Gel Sheet can be easily cut and/or shaped to adapt it to any type of wound, even the most irregular. It's not sticky. The dressing is activated by the exudate produced by the wound: the antibacterial honey is slowly released into the wound, adjusting the pH and stimulating any granulation tissue.
Medihoney Gel Sheet is safe and can be used at all ages, including newborns.
Like all honey dressings, the ideal temperature is room temperature or "warm to the touch", which makes the dressing extremely adaptable.
Handling: Being a honey dressing it can be shaped to fit easily.
