Description

GCE Zen-O with 2 batteries 12 cells 8 hours

The Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator is designed to enable patients with respiratory disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to better manage their home oxygen therapy inside and outside their homes.

The Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator offers freedom and peace of mind to its users by providing pulsed flow moving oxygen.

Zen-O weighs only 4.66 kg and is capable of delivering up to 2 liters per minute of oxygen in continuous flow and up to 6 liters per minute in pulsed flow. Zen-O comes with several accessories, including a carry bag and a pull-out cart for added mobility.

Zen-O's practical and robust design provides greater operational efficiency and low running costs for home care providers.

Zen-O has been designed to easily replace molecular sieves. The filter block can be replaced directly using simple tools in less than 5 minutes, saving time and money.

Zen-O uses advanced technology to adjust the amount of oxygen in response to the patient's breathing rate and automatically increase the amount when the patient needs it most – such as when walking uphill.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Dual Mode

The Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator is capable of delivering up to 2 liters per minute of continuous flow oxygen and up to 6 liters per minute of pulsed flow.

The Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator is manufactured in the UK to a high standard. GCE has offices in Latin America, China and several warehouses throughout Europe.

Replaceable molecular sieve block

Zen-O has various audible and visual alarms to prompt the user for a specific operation. Among the various alarms are: low battery, service required, breath not detected.

The GCE Zen-O Portable Oxygen Concentrator is indicated for people with the following conditions:

Chronic disorders and diseases

COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). COPD is a progressive disease in which lesions in the alveoli prevent the passage of enough oxygen into the blood. The adjective "progressive" means that the condition tends to worsen over time.
Severe heart failure. In this disorder, the heart is unable to pump enough oxygen-rich blood to meet the body's needs.
Cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is an inherited disease of the exocrine glands, including those that produce mucus and sweat. In patients suffering from cystic fibrosis, the airways fill with thick, sticky mucus, which facilitates the proliferation of bacteria, causing severe and recurrent lung infections. Over time, infections can severely damage the lungs.
Sleep-related breathing disorders that cause the oxygen level to drop during sleep, such as sleep apnea.
Cluster headache. It is an extremely painful primary neurovascular headache. It is periodic, with active phases alternating with phases of spontaneous remission. These active phases are called "clusters" (or "clusters").

Acute disorders and pathologies

Severe pneumonia. Pneumonia is the infection of one or both lungs. If it is severe, it causes deep inflammation of the alveoli, which then cannot exchange enough oxygen with the blood.
Severe asthma attacks. Asthma is a lung disease that inflames and narrows the bronchi. Most asthma patients, including many children, can manage their symptoms safely, however, if the asthma attacks are severe, the patient may need hospitalization for oxygen therapy.
Respiratory distress syndrome or bronchopulmonary dysplasia in premature infants. Premature babies can suffer from one or both of these serious lung diseases. As part of therapy, they may receive oxygen via a ventilator or a nasal mask with continuous positive pressure, or via a nasal cannula.
