The nasal douche treatment delivers a specific nebulization to remain within the nasopharynx districts, and which does not go down to the lungs as the nebulized generated by normal aerosol devices would do, which, unlike nasal douches, are designed to allow the drug to descend to the pulmonary alveoli.

Nasal douches are particularly suitable for the treatment of nasopharyngitis, allowing the removal of any mucous exudates that represent a non-negligible problem in the child.

Washing does not require the use of drugs and is normally carried out using common isotonic and hypertonic saline solutions. Nasal washing is effective and comfortable for both adults and children also thanks to the three nasal adapters made of soft material, which RHINO CLEAR MOBILE is supplied as standard.

Treatment with the nasal douche is very well tolerated by children and, from a study carried out by Prof. B. Bergamini of the Faculty of Pediatrics of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, it appears that "In the child with chronic rhino-sinusitis, practically all symptoms are improved already after the first week of treatment and after the third week the improvement is further evident".
