BD push-button needle protection technology is proven to reduce the risk of accidental needlestick injuries. First-Attempt Success BD Instaflash™ technology features an additional needle hole that has been clinically proven to improve first-attempt success by reducing the number of painful, unsuccessful attempts.

Reduction of complications
BD Vialon™ biomaterial softens up to 70% in the vein, allowing for longer in-vein dwell times and reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis. Designed to be inserted into the patient’s peripheral vasculature for short periods of time to obtain blood samples, monitor blood pressure, or administer fluids. Available with or without wings.
