Perforated Silicone Bowl Pessary

The indications are similar to those of the classic ring pessary. However, this model, thanks to the support of the internal membrane, guarantees support up to the third degree of uterine prolapse and is particularly indicated following a hysterectomy.

The device must be prescribed and positioned exclusively by specialized and qualified medical personnel.

The perforated bowl pessary medical device has a disc shape and is indicated for mild forms of pelvic relaxation and prolapse, although, unlike the classic ring, this model is able to offer greater support. In fact, in patients with cystocele, this type of pessary supports both medially and laterally.

It is also used in the rehabilitation of patients with vaginal vault prolapse, following hysterectomy and in combination with pelvic floor therapy.

For greater effectiveness, it is recommended to use it only in situations where the pelvic floor is sufficiently intact.
