The SAL20 auxiliary lens of the stereoscopic microscope is mounted on the cover by thread. The system magnification increases (2x). The field of view becomes half (compared to a conventional lens) and the working distance reaches 40.4 mm.

You can use the auxiliary lens as an additional device to add magnification if the magnification increased by the eyepieces is not sufficient or if the eyepieces are not used. This is possible when a digital camera is connected to the system and used for observations.
