The Levenhuk MED Calibration Slide is a microscope accessory used for the calibration of image analysis programs. It is a piece of transparent glass with a micrometer scale on the surface. The scale is located in a circle and is clearly visible under a microscope. The minimum value is 0.01 mm. The calibration slide allows you to quickly adjust the program so that it takes measurements in your preferred unit.

The Levenhuk MED calibration slide can be used with microscopes of all brands.

How to use the calibration slide:

1. Attach the slide to the microscope stage.
2. Rotate the revolver to select the work target.
3. Set the camera to shooting mode at full resolution, and then take a picture of the scale.
4. In the image analysis program, select the calibration mode, use the mouse to indicate the maximum visible distance, and then enter the resulting value in real units.
5. Enter the name of the calibration and perform a double check of the values.
6. If everything is done correctly, the program will remember the correction factor and, in the future, independently convert the values to the required units of measurement.
