What is Spunlace?
Spunlace is a non-woven fabric obtained through a hydro-processing (or hydrobonding) process, in which high-pressure water jets intertwine the fibers, creating a robust and homogeneous material without the use of glues or chemical agents. Usually composed of natural fibers such as cotton or cellulose, or synthetic fibers such as polyester or viscose, spunlace is very soft, resistant, absorbent and breathable. Due to these properties, it is widely used in disposable personal care products, such as washing wipes and gloves, as well as face masks, bandages, and other hygiene and cosmetic items.
