Coenzyme Q10 is a substance present in human tissues and represents in particular in the mitochondria, an intracellular organelle that acts as an "energy control unit".  Mitochondria are present in all tissues and are found in greater numbers in tissues characterized by a particularly active oxidative metabolism such as the heart, skeletal muscle, brown adipose tissue, liver and brain.

Coenzyme Q10 plays a key role in transporting electrons across mitochondrial membranes and is involved in the processes that produce energy from food. Aging, exercise and stress decrease the concentration of coenzyme Q10.

CoQuTen is a supplement containing 30 mg/pearl of Ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10)* conveyed with the help of tiny particles that allow greater bioavailability than traditional forms.  This patented process ensures excellent absorption of Coenzyme Q10 (a highly hydrophobic molecule) directly into the intestine without the need for emulsification by bile salts. The use of statins can reduce the production of coenzyme Q10 in the body.

How to use
Swallow 1 pearl daily, with water, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Packaged in bottles of 50 softgels.
