SEPTALDEHYDE 2.0 - Medical Device CE0476

SEPTALDEHYDE 2.0 is a ready-to-use disinfectant based on acid glutaraldehyde for the disinfection of reusable invasive and non-invasive medical devices. It has a spectrum of action towards: bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria and enveloped viruses. Its acidic reaction allows the stability of the active ingredient in the free form. Compatible with washable materials and easily rinsed, it does not corrode metals and does not deteriorate rubber. Suitable for manual or ultrasonic use.
Areas of application: For the cold disinfection of medical devices such as surgical instruments (including dental instruments), fibre-optic instruments, breathing tubes, anaesthesia equipment, temperature-sensitive reusable medical devices.

How to use
SEPTALDEHYDE 2.0 is ready to use.
It is recommended to completely immerse the instruments to be disinfected in the solution after thoroughly washing and drying them. Store the solution in a covered tank.
Effectiveness and Contact Times:
Bactericidal, fungicidal, mycobactericidal and virucidal on enveloped viruses in 10 minutes of contact.
Once the treatment is complete, remove the devices aseptically, rinse thoroughly and dry them. In any case, read the user manual of the medical device subject to treatment in the part pertaining to cleaning and disinfection. Do not immerse carbon steel objects for over 24 hours.
