The BOWIE & DICK is a physical test that allows you to verify the ability of vapor to penetrate porous bodies. A standardized "test pack" that complies with the currently applicable technical regulations is used for the test. The test must be passed by all autoclaves that declare the possibility of sterilization of porous loads, such as gauze, bandages, gowns and fabrics in general.
