The Levenhuk Nitro ED 12x50 binoculars with low dispersion optics are perfect for those looking for a powerful, large-aperture instrument that reproduces clear, crystal-clear, high-resolution images. In addition, the binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen-filled. Therefore, you can use it in any situation, even when it rains or while on board a boat. The Levenhuk Nitro ED 12x50 is a great choice for hunting, bird watching, camping, fishing, surveillance activities, and any field observation where you need to view distant objects in detail.

These binoculars use roof prisms, which make them smaller and lighter than models with equivalent features that employ Porro prisms. The optics are fully coated, which means that the image viewed in cloudy weather will be as rich in contrast and bright as the one observed in bright light. The optics system offers 12x magnification, but the field of view is still wide enough to allow you to observe a large area or track moving targets. These binoculars can be housed on a tripod to increase image stability: there is a standard threaded hole.

It is easy to adapt this model to the needs of each user: you can choose the position of the retractable, twist-up eyecups, and the eye relief is long enough to allow you to wear the glasses during observations. You can also make the diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece and set the optimal interpupillary distance. The instrument is equipped with a central wheel for focusing.

These binoculars are covered with rubber which, on the one hand, improves protection against dust and shocks and, on the top, makes the grip firmer. The hull is made of high-strength ABS plastic.

Key features:

  • The lenses are made of low dispersion (ED) glass, the roof prisms made of BaK-4 glass
  • High resolution, minimal chromatic aberration, 12x magnification, multi-coated anti-reflective optics
  • The shell is filled with nitrogen, to protect the lenses from fogging up
  • The body is hermetically sealed to resist water ingress, making the instrument waterproof
  • Retractable eyecups and long eye relief: it is easy to make observations while wearing glasses
  • Diopter can be adjusted and binoculars can be placed on a tripod for stationary observation
