All models also include the representation of the vertebral arteries, spinal nerve endings and an L3-L4 intervertebral disc prolapse. On code 40131, the left side of the skeleton depicts the points of origin (red) and insertion (blue) of the muscles. On codes 40131 and 40132 the sacral top and coccyx are removable to illustrate the sacral section of the spine and associated nerve endings. On code 40133 the various areas of the spine are characterized by a color code for easy identification.
