The 10PLFL objective is designed for observations in fluorescent light. The special optics do not produce their fluorescent light or show birefringence. The lens, with its high NA, produces a high-resolution image: observations or image capture with a digital camera are more detailed, clear, and expressive than with a standard lens.
The wide, flat field of the lens produces a wide field of images and works well with wide-field eyepieces or a digital camera. For example, with a 10x eyepiece and a 22mm field of view, the total system field of view will be 2.2mm. To work with the lens in fluorescent light, we recommend using the CLM90 7.1 MP, 1.1" digital camera.
The 10PLFL objective provides 10x magnification. When mounted on a microscope, the total usable magnification of the system will be between 175x and 350x. To achieve these parameters, use the appropriate eyepieces. Lower magnification eyepieces are not recommended for the system, as they will not allow you to examine the object in detail. Too much magnification of the eyepiece will not provide new information about a sample. The 10PLFL objective has a resolution limit of 0.78 μm.
The model is designed for installation in an infinitely correct pipe. The parfocal distance is 45 mm. Cover the sample with a 0.17 mm thick cover glass.
