Fascinating and stylish, the microscope Levenhuk Rainbow 2L knows how to transform even the most boring of biology lessons into an immersive educational experience. This microscope allows children to find out what the things around them are made, to study insects and plants, to find out if yogurt really contains live organisms and many other interesting things. The Levenhuk The Rainbow 2L comes with an experimental kit, so a young explorer can start using the microscope right out of the box.
High-quality optics
The lenses are made of special optical glass with a high level of transparency. In addition, the optical surfaces are treated with a multi-layer coating, which increases the amount of transmitted light and improves image quality. The model is sold with three objective lenses supplied, so the microscope is able to offer magnifications between 40x and 400x. Changing magnification is very easy: simply rotate the nosepiece.
Versatility: Examine transparent and non-transparent samples
One of the main advantages of this microscope is the ability to observe both transparent and opaque samples. For this purpose, the microscope is equipped with two illumination sources. Illumination from below is used to observe transparent samples, such as thin sections of plants and insects. Overhead lighting allows you to observe opaque objects, such as small stones, coins and banknotes, and many more. In addition, semi-transparent samples can be observed by turning on both light sources. The selection of interesting samples to examine is limited only by their size and the imagination of the observer.
Smart design
The microscope. With its plastic body it is much lighter than those made of metal, so it is much easier and more practical to carry to school or for a walk or to friends' houses. At the same time, the microscope is robust and therefore perfect for intensive use. To provide greater comfort when observing, the muzzle is tilted at 45°. The lighting can be powered either by battery or via a wall socket.
Attention: Refer to the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into the 220V socket and vice versa, without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the United States and Canada is 110 V and 220–240 V in most European countries.
